My New Years resolutions

Hey guys, long time no see

So this year I have posted a whole 4 times and drafted 1 ( which I was going to post but my grammar was ridiculous in ). 

So aswell as everyone else's resolutions like get fit, I'm going to make one of mine post more because I think we can all agree I'm slacking a lot. So from 2017 I'm going to try and hopefully post more than 3 times. So far I have planned a post so I mean it's a start and means there is hope I can actually do and complete a resolution.

I met the vamps ???? and my makeup look

Hey guys,  so today's post is about something that happened this Tuesday. I MET THE VAMPS !?!?! Omg I still Carnt believe it happened but it did. In this post I'm going to go through my experience meeting them and what makeup I wore to meet them.

Now for my outfit I didn't take any pictures but in some pictures that will be in this post u will see some of it so I was wearing my the vamps tour tee from this year in white, my black jeans, my black and white superstars and my black adidas hoodie. For my makeup quick side note in the pictures i had filled in my eyebrows I took all these pictures before I did them as I had some extra time so I wanted to do my realistic makeup look if I hadn't had a spare 5-10 minutes. 

 

So first of all my experience in meeting the vamps, so on Tuesday I went to Manchester to there book signing with my cousin and I'm not even going to lie it was the best day of my life. Now on to my makeup for the day I wanted to go for a bold/natural eye with bold lips and natural face makeup

 

First of all I used my Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer in extra light

  

Next I went onto concealer where I used my collection lasting perfection in fair 1

 

I then moved onto my cheeks and bronzed/contoured with my much loved Clinique blush and bronzer duo now I only use the bronzer so I didn't swatch the blush ( couldn't find a link )

  

  

I then added my favorite highlighter Mac soft and gentle which I didn't swatch as it was in my last post

Now I had finished my cheeks and face I went onto eyes where I used my urban decay naked 2 . Can you tell my favorite colors ???? This palette is literally my favorite thing ever. So I took foxy on the lid as a base, I then put chopper on the outer third and busted into the crease blending it all out.

  

 

Next I put on mascara which is the benefit bad girl lash in the mini version

  

I then put the seventeen eye kohl on my waterline and tight line

  

I then lightly put some of my Mac soft and gentle on my inner corner and on my brow bone

I then lined my lips with the primark lip liner in plum 

 

I also then put on my Mac lipstick in amorous

Battle of the beams

Hey guys today I'm going to be talking about the 3 benefit beams high beam, shy beam and sun beam. First off I baught these all together in a mini set of all 3 buy Here

 

 

First off they all have the same applicators and similar packaging.

 

 

 

So first of all the swatches start with the first pic of them first applicated, the second them slightly blended and the third them fully blended in. The highlighters go shy beam, sun beam and high beam.

First of all my personal favourite high beam ( as you can tell my most used as well as it is running out ). This gives you a beautiful glow whether you blend out with your finger or a brush. 

 

Now I also really like sun beam and it gives a bronze glow to the skin but I do think for me as I am extremely pale it is a little bit too bronze for me on its own. 

 

Finally the only one I have any issues with, I am going to start with the positive part, it is a really nice peachy colour but it doesn't have much sheen in it as the other too it is easy to blend but I have found it takes my makeup off underneath which surprised me because the others didn't and I don't know if that was just me or everyone.

Now personally I think high beam wins for me easily as much as I do like the others there is a clear winner

My current beauty favorites

Hey guys today I'm going to talk about what I'm currently loving I'm sorry that some of the products are going to be the same as the last post but I'm just trying to share my favourite products right now.

 

First of all my to die for product out of everything has to be MAC Soft and Gentle. Need I say more ..... I got this product nearly 2 months ago and I have worn it every day since I love love love it. I am really pale but this hilighter give a natural glow instead of a peachy yellowy glow which I love. It is very very pigmented and looks beautiful on any skin tone. 

 

Next I'm gonna go to another Mac product and this is the MAC Satin Lipstick in the shade AMOROUS. Which although in the pictures it looks more on the peachy pink/nude color it is the mostgorgeous deep purple shade which is perfect as we are going into the autum months. It looks
great with a neutral eye and bold lip or just as a color to throw on before leaving the house in a rush. One thing I do love about Mac products are the Packaging like the highliter is beautiful and the lipsticks are in the bullet packaging which I personally love. 

Next up we have the KAT VON D shade and light palette which I talked about quite abit in my last post so I won't say too much apart from if your not very good at contour this palette will be a life saver as it is so easy to use. I personally use the middle shade for contour the first hilight powder for powdering my face sometimes and the middle banana colored power under my eyes to brighten. ( sorry for the awful swatches ) ( also if u live in the uk KAT Von d has come to debenhams )

Next up we have the URBAN DECAY naked skin concealer which I also talked about in my last post do I won't say to much but I'm in the shade light warm which as I'm loosing my slight tan Is going from a hilight shade to a all face shade which I'm soon going to have to get a paler shade. But as I said before this is a perfect high end good coverage concealer.

 

Next to the drug store I have a mascara I am currently loving which is the RIMMEL wonder lash mascara which oh do I love. It is in the shade extreme black which is a thick volumizing mascara which isn't to clumpy but clumpy enough that it's good. It makes your eyelashes more full and I mean what more can u ask for in a mascara. I love the metallic packaging but as you will see it is hard to take pictures of.  

And finally I didn't really know what to class this as but I have the P.S lip liner from primark In the shade plum which was £1 bargain which as you will see in the picture I have absolutely loved and nearly used it all up this lip liner is a nice not to deep but not warm purple which doesn't have a shade name to it but I'm pretty sure you would be able to spot it if you went into the beauty part of primark it is a creamy easy to use lip liner which you can even use all over the lips and just add a gloss ontop.
